Organic semiconductor research combines many different aspects of fundamental science and applied engineering
and is a prime example of how "blue sky research" can provide "solutions looking for a problem". If you have a
problem, or would just like to find out more, feel free to contact Professor Lupton. The research topic lends
itself well to promoting the public understanding and appreciation of basic science and public outreach
activities are held at regular intervals.
The group is also actively involved in K-12 education and outreach and currently hosts a physics teacher
active in secondary school level instruction as part of the WEST program, besides being affiliated with the
Utah Center for Science and Mathematics Education.
